Eagles Release D. Jones

The Philadelphia Eagles released linebacker Dhani Jones.

The Eagles traded for linebacker Takeo Spikes last month and used a third-round draft pick Saturday on Nebraska linebacker Stewart Bradley.

Why not pick up Jones for OLB depth? Better than Holdman was.
