League Officially Puts Off Game In China

The league, as expected, canceled its preseason game in China in August between the New England Patriots and Seattle Seahawks.

League officials said they wanted to focus on the regular season game in October in London between the New York Giants and Miami Dolphins. An exhibition game in Beijing might be rescheduled for 2009, they said.

They were probably concerned about the reports of out of control pollution in China. I know if I was a player I would be worried about the impact of a visit on my health.

What?! The Chinese are noted for their active defense of the ozone layer and their fight against global warming. Only America pollutes the earth....right?
