Schedule to be Released Wednesday?
An official with one NFL team said the clubs are scheduled to be updated by the league office this afternoon about when next season's schedule will be released.
The official said he's been led to believe the schedule might be released Wednesday.
The league is juggling the timing of two significant announcements this week. The league also is likely to announce the suspensions of Tennessee Titans cornerback Adam (Pacman) Jones and Cincinnati Bengals wide receiver Chris Henry in the coming days under Commissioner Roger Goodell's new player conduct policy. Each had a hearing before Goodell last week in New York.
