Offseason Injuries Piling Up for Falcons Defense

The Atlanta Falcons have had significant injuries suffered by two defensive starters in recent days.

Linebacker Demorrio Williams suffered a torn pectoral muscle while lifting weights and underwent surgery last week.

Defensive tackle Rod Coleman underwent surgery for a ruptured quadriceps muscle after being hurt in a boating accident.

Both players' status for the beginning of the regular season is unclear.
