Bulger Cashes In With Big Extension from Rams

Quarterback Marc Bulger signed a six-year, $65 million contract extension with the St. Louis Rams today.

The deal includes about $29 million in guaranteed money, a source familiar with the negotiations said.

Bulger joined the team today after missing a mandatory meeting Thursday.

Bulger had one season remaining on a four-year, $19.1 million deal that was to pay him a $3.95 million salary during the upcoming season.
