Deals Done for More Than Half of First-Rounders

Seventeen of the 32 first-round draft picks have agreed to contracts with their teams.

Agreeing today were wide receiver Ted Ginn Jr. (the No. 9 overall selection) with the Miami Dolphins, defensive end Adam Carriker (13th) with the St. Louis Rams and safety Brandon Meriweather (24th) with the New England Patriots.

Offensive tackle Joe Thomas, the third overall choice, agreed Thursday night to a six-year deal with the Cleveland Browns that includes $23 million in guaranteed money.
