Cardinals Complete Deal With Draft's Fifth Pick

The Arizona Cardinals reached a contract agreement tonight with offensive tackle Levi Brown, the fifth player chosen in the NFL draft in April.

According to a source familiar with the negotiations, the six-year deal includes about $18.5 million in guaranteed money. It has a maximum value of $62 million, the source said, but it's highly unlikely that Brown will earn anywhere close to that much.

The agreement leaves only six first-round selections league-wide unsigned, including the top two picks--Oakland Raiders quarterback JaMarcus Russell and Detroit Lions wide receiver Calvin Johnson.

Also unsigned are New York Jets cornerback Darrelle Revis (14th overall), Cleveland Browns quarterback Brady Quinn (22nd), Kansas City Chiefs wide receiver Dwayne Bowe (23rd) and Carolina Panthers linebacker Jon Beason (25th).
