Exhibition Opener Might Have Cost Cardinals Two Starters For Entire Season
The Arizona Cardinals might have lost two starters to season-ending injuries in Saturday's defeat to the Oakland Raiders in their exhibition opener.
Offensive tackle Oliver Ross reportedly suffered a torn triceps and linebacker Chike Okeafor reportedly suffered a torn biceps. According to reports, both players are expected to seek additional medical opinions but season-ending surgeries are likely.
Ross's injury should result in rookie Levi Brown, the fifth overall selection in the NFL draft in April, being elevated to the starting lineup immediately.
