Panthers Safety Minter Reportedly Decides to Retire

Carolina Panthers safety Mike Minter reportedly has decided to retire.

The Associated Press reported that the announcement is to be made Tuesday.

Minter is the Panthers' leading career tackler and had hoped to play one more season but has been plagued by knee troubles. He reportedly made the decision over the weekend and didn't practice today.
