Vick Radio Appearance Canceled, According to Host

Michael Vick canceled a radio appearance scheduled for this morning, host Tom Joyner said on his nationally syndicated show.

Joyner said that Vick apologized to him after being told by his advisers not to appear.

The Atlanta Falcons quarterback addressed reporters Monday in Richmond after entering his guilty plea in a federal dogfighting case but did not answer questions.

First!!!1!!!!eleven!

What a shame Tom Joyner didn't get the chance to take Vick to task like I know he would have.

What an unbelievable coward. First he gets off torturing dogs. Then he lies about it. Then he apologizes in the third person for his "mistakes" and vows to make "michael vick a better person", but takes NO questions. Finally, and predictably, he cancels an appearance on the Tom Joyner show. If he were truly remorseful he would be able to face the music and answer some questions.
