J. Fisher Reportedly Agrees to Contract Extension With Titans
Tennessee Titans Coach Jeff Fisher reportedly agreed to a four-year contract extension with the team that runs through the 2011 season.
Fisher's contract was to expire after this season and there had been speculation that he might be a highly coveted coaching free agent.
His salary will be raised from $5.4 million this season to somewhere between $5.5 million and $6 million, the Tennessean reported.
After last season, the Titans exercised an option year in Fisher's contract to keep him with the club and prevent other teams, including the Dallas Cowboys, from pursuing him.
