P. Burress to Keep Playing on Ailing Ankle
Wide receiver Plaxico Burress told reporters Thursday that he plans to remain in the New York Giants' lineup, playing on an ailing ankle.
Burress received a second opinion this week from Charlotte orthopedist Robert Anderson, who told Burress the injury is a bad sprain.
Burress has practiced little since the season began but has been highly productive in the Giants' three games, with 15 catches for 262 yards and five touchdowns.
