P. Williams Agrees to Contract Extension With Vikings

INDIANAPOLIS--Defensive tackle Pat Williams agreed to a three-year, $22 million contract extension with the Minnesota Vikings that will keep him off the free agent market next spring.

The deal runs through the 2010 season.

Williams would have been eligible for unrestricted free agency after the season.
