Dolphins to Turn to Rookie Quarterback?

With the Miami Dolphins' season in ruins and the team on its bye week, Coach Cam Cameron is leaving open the possibility of switching to rookie John Beck as the club's starting quarterback.

Cleo Lemon took over for Trent Green as the starter after Green suffered a concussion that ended his season and perhaps his NFL career. The Dolphins' record dropped to 0-8 with Sunday's loss to the New York Giants in London, and Cameron indicated Monday that he would use the bye week to assess the quarterback situation.

The Dolphins selected Beck out of Brigham Young in the second round of the NFL draft in April after passing over Notre Dame's Brady Quinn in the first round in favor of Ohio State wide receiver Ted Ginn Jr.
