Falcons Said to be Pondering Potential Move to Leftwich

There is speculation that the Atlanta Falcons might make a quarterback switch following Monday night's lopsided loss to the New York Giants.

Joey Harrington has been the team's starter all season but the Falcons' coaching staff is said to be contemplating a move to Byron Leftwich, the former Jacksonville Jaguars starter who was signed last month.

One possible problem is that Leftwich suffered an ankle injury in practice last week that led to him being dropped from second to third on the depth chart for the Giants game.
