MRI Shows Torn Ligament But K. Warner Reportedly Won't Have to Undergo Surgery
An MRI exam showed that Arizona Cardinals quarterback Kurt Warner has a torn ligament in his left elbow but a team spokesman told the Associated Press that Warner won't have to undergo surgery.
It remains unclear how long Warner will be sidelined. The injury, suffered during last weekend's loss to the Carolina Panthers, is to his non-throwing arm. Tim Rattay likely will start Sunday's game against the Washington Redskins at FedEx Field, and the Cardinals signed quarterback Tim Hasselbeck today.
