Nolan Decrees A. Smith Not Ready to Return to Niners' Lineup

Quarterback Alex Smith won't start for the San Francisco 49ers this weekend, Coach Mike Nolan announced.

Nolan indicated that he doesn't believe Smith is ready to return to the lineup three weeks after suffering a separated right shoulder.

Trent Dilfer is to remain the starter for the 49ers.
