V. Young Sits Out Titans' Practice

Quarterback Vince Young sat out the Tennessee Titans' practice today because of his strained quadriceps muscle.

Backup Kerry Collins, who took over after Young was hurt during Sunday's loss to the Tampa Bay Buccaneers, took the practice-field snaps in Young's place. Coach Jeff Fisher has called Young's status day to day. The Titans play the Texans this weekend in Houston, Young's home town.
