V. Young Undergoes MRI Exam on Injured Leg

Tennessee Titans quarterback Vince Young underwent an MRI exam today on what the team is calling a strained quadriceps muscle.

The results of the test were not immediately known and it was not clear how long Young will be sidelined. Coach Jeff Fisher called his quarterback's status day-to-day.

Young got hurt during Sunday's loss to the Tampa Bay Buccaneers and gave way to backup Kerry Collins.

The Titans play in Houston this weekend. It's a divisional matchup with the Texans, and the game is in Young's home town.

The Titans might have to add a quarterback to the roster this week. They have Ingle Martin on the practice squad. They released Tim Rattay just before the season. But he isn't an option because he signed with Arizona last week and now is the Cardinals' starter-by-necessity.
