Culpepper to Face Vikings, and J. Russell Could Be His Backup
The back-and-forth continues for the Oakland Raiders at quarterback. Daunte Culpepper is being moved back into the starting job this week and gets to face his first NFL team, the Minnesota Vikings, on Sunday.
Culpepper is replacing Josh McCown as the starter for the second time this season. McCown has a bruised thigh and hasn't played well in recent weeks. This also will be the second time that Culpepper has faced a former team this season. He already beat the Miami Dolphins, throwing for two touchdowns and running for three others in that game.
It's possible that rookie JaMarcus Russell could be the No. 2 quarterback this weekend.
