Jones Reportedly to Avoid Serving Jail Time Under Plea Deal

Suspended Tennessee Titans cornerback Adam (Pacman) Jones reportedly has agreed to a plea deal in which he will avoid serving jail time in exchange for his testimony about a shooting at a Las Vegas strip club.

The Associated Press reported that Jones has agreed to plead no contest to conspiracy to commit disorderly conduct, a gross misdemeanor. A one-year jail sentence reportedly is to be suspended.

Under the plea deal, Jones is to receive probation and is to participate in anger management training, complete 200 hours of community service within a year and submit to drug-testing.

Three people were wounded in a Feb. 19 shooting outside the strip club after Jones and his associates were involved in a dispute inside the club.
