Rookie Could Get Starting Nod for Panthers

All week, it looked like Vinny Testaverde would be the starting quarterback for the Carolina Panthers this weekend. David Carr was sidelined after suffering a concussion last weekend, and Testaverde was practicing after being on the shelf recently because of a strained Achilles' tendon.

But now it's anyone's guess what will happen. Testaverde sat out Friday's practice after experiencing renewed discomfort in his heel. Undrafted rookie Matt Moore, who split the practice-field snaps with Testaverde this week, could be in line to be the starter.
