Testaverde Not Getting Any Younger

When the Carolina Panthers signed Vinny Testaverde last month, he was described as a soon-to-be 44-year-old quarterback.

It's soon-to-be no more.

Testaverde turns 44 today.

Is there a record for the highest cumulative age for two starting quarteracks in a game? Testaverde (44) vs. Favre (38) gives us a ripe 82. Did Warren Moon play anybody near his age at the end of his career?

It's a good question. I don't know the answer. I'll check to see if anyone keeps that one.
