C. Pennington Probably Will Regain Jets' Starting Job This Weekend

Chad Pennington probably will be the New York Jets' starter at quarterback this weekend.

Kellen Clemens has continued to be plagued this week by the rib injury that knocked him from Sunday's loss at New England.

Clemens was hurt early in the game on a hit by the Patriots' Richard Seymour on a play on which Clemens threw an interception that was returned for a touchdown. Pennington, who was benched in favor of Clemens earlier this season, played most of the rest of the game and helped to keep the Jets close in a 20-10 defeat.
