T. Henry Wins Appeal, Overturns Drug Suspension

Denver Broncos tailback Travis Henry has won his appeal and overturned his one-year suspension for an alleged violation the NFL's substance abuse policy, the Broncos announced today.

Henry reportedly tested positive for marijuana in August and was informed in September that he would be suspended for a year. But, with the backing of the Broncos, he appealed the suspension and continued playing, and filed a lawsuit against the league contending that it had violated its own drug-testing procedures.

The Broncos issued a written statement that said: "We are pleased with this outcome and happy that Travis has been absolved of any wrongdoing with respect to this matter."
