Falcons Interviewing Frazier Today, Waiting to See if Spagnuolo Becomes Available

The Atlanta Falcons are interviewing Minnesota Vikings defensive coordinator Leslie Frazier for their head coaching vacancy today.

The Falcons tried but failed this week to hire Jason Garrett as their coach. But Garrett rebuffed both the Falcons and Baltimore Ravens to remain the offensive coordinator of the Dallas Cowboys, with a hefty raise.

The Falcons interviewed Garrett and Ravens defensive coordinator Rex Ryan twice each, but apparently now have reopened their search after failing to land Garrett. They probably will interview New York Giants defensive coordinator Steve Spagnuolo next week if the Giants lose the NFC championship game Sunday in Green Bay.
