Gates Playing, Too

FOXBOROUGH, Mass.--The inactive lists for the AFC title game are out. Neither tight end Antonio Gates nor quarterback Philip Rivers is on the San Diego Chargers' inactive list.

That means that Gates will play for a second straight week with a sprained toe. Rivers is scheduled to start the game for the Chargers despite a sprained knee ligament.
