Moss Remains With Patriots as Temporary Restraining Order Against Him Extended
PHOENIX--Wide receiver Randy Moss remained in the Phoenix area with the New England Patriots and did not attend a scheduled hearing in Florida related to a woman's battery allegation against him.
Moss was not required to attend the hearing.
Lawyers for Moss and the woman agreed to extend a temporary restraining order against Moss, the Associated Press reported.
No criminal charges have been brought in the case. The temporary restraining order prohibits Moss from coming within 500 feet of the woman. Moss has denied her allegations and has accused her of attempting to obtain a six-figure financial settlement.

Why did this story drop off the radar screen so quickly? The whole thing seems odd (waited 6 days, no apparent lasting injuries), so maybe it's really a non-issue. From the media, why no coverage? Did you not do the homework Moss asked?

Moss's defense is that he's spent his entire career trying to avoid violent contact.
