Ravens Pick Harbaugh
This from Mark Maske: The Baltimore Ravens just announced that they have hired Philadelphia Eagles secondary coach John Harbaugh to be their new head coach, replacing Brian Billick. The move comes one day after the Ravens' first choice, Jason Garrett, rejected the job to remain the offensive coordinator of the Dallas Cowboys.
Harbaugh previously served as the Eagles' special teams coordinator before being put in charge of defensive backs this season. He was the runnerup to Ravens offensive coordinator Rick Neuheisel for the head coaching job at UCLA.
