Cowboys Keep F. Adams

The Dallas Cowboys kept left tackle Flozell Adams off the unrestricted free agent market later tonight by agreeing to a six-year contract with him.

Adams would have been one of the most coveted players on the free agent market.

The Cowboys had contemplated using their franchise player tag on him earlier this month, but placed it on safety Ken Hamlin instead and continued negotiations with Adams.
