Activity on Restricted Free Agent Market

The restricted free agent market has gotten its first activity.

The Detroit Lions signed Tampa Bay Buccaneers safety Kalvin Pearson to a three-year, $3.5 million offer sheet. The deal includes a $1.1 million signing bonus.

The Buccaneers have a week to decide whether to match the offer to retain Pearson. There is no draft pick compensation involved if they allow him to leave.
