Another Would-Be Bengals' Trade For A Defensive Tackle Unravels

The Cincinnati Bengals are oh for two in trying to trade for defensive tackles.

A near-deal with the New York Jets for Dewayne Robertson unraveled Monday when the Bengals and Robertson couldn't agree on a reworked contract.

Earlier, the Bengals nearly traded for Detroit's Shaun Rogers but that deal, too, fell apart.

Also:

Free agent tight end Jerame Tuman, released by Pittsburgh, agreed to a deal with Arizona. The signing reunites him with Cardinals Coach Ken Whisenhunt, formerly the Steelers' offensive coordinator.

Wide receiver David Patten re-signed with New Orleans.

Jacksonville released guard Chris Naeole, a former starter who ended the season on the injured reserve list.
