D. Hall Still Negotiating With Raiders
Cornerback DeAngelo Hall continues to negotiate a contract with the Oakland Raiders as a precursor to a proposed trade with the Atlanta Falcons.
The Falcons have been shopping Hall since the NFL scouting combine and apparently have agreed to a prospective trade with the Raiders, reportedly for second- and sixth-round draft picks. But the trade is contingent upon Hall agreeing to a new contract with the Raiders.
There were reports in recent days that the contract talks might have hit a snag but a source said Monday night that the two sides continue to negotiate in hopes of reaching an agreement.
