Dolphins Sale Approved

PALM BEACH, Fla.--The owners today approved the sale of 50 percent of the Miami Dolphins to New York real estate developer Stephen Ross.

The move required ratification of at least 24 of the 32 teams.

Wayne Huizenga retains 50 percent of the franchise and remains the Dolphins' controlling owner for now.
