Free Agency Slowing Down
The pace of free agency is slowing way, way down now.
Most, if not all, of the big deals are done now, and it has reached the point at which many of the players still looking for work had better find jobs and get contracts soon or all of the roster openings and money are going to be gone.
Those teams, like the Washington Redskins, that sat out the initial wave of free agency can jump into the market now and find some bargains.
In early developments today:
Free agent guard Jake Scott has left the Indianapolis Colts by agreeing to a four-year deal, approximately $20 million with the Tennessee Titans, the Tennessean reported.
Tailback Tatum Bell has agreed to re-sign with the Detroit Lions, the Detroit Free Press reported.
