S. Rogers Gets New Contract to Go With New Team

Defensive tackle Shaun Rogers agreed to a six-year, $42 million contract with the Cleveland Browns that includes $20 million in guaranteed money.

The Browns obtained Rogers in a trade with the Detroit Lions on Friday after the Lions' near-deal to send the defensive tackle to the Cincinnati Bengals unraveled.

mark, whats up with this guy getting so much attention and $$? he seems overweight and over valued. Is the FA pool and draft is that weak?

Supply and demand. The teams have the cash and the salary cap space and there aren't that many good players available, especially at that position.
