Bucs Reportedly in L. Sheppard Chase
According to reports out of media outlets in Philadelphia and Florida, the Tampa Bay Buccaneers have emerged as a potential bidder for Eagles cornerback Lito Sheppard.
The Eagles are thought to be interested in trading Sheppard after signing cornerback Asante Samuel in free agency.
The Buccaneers have a need at the position and, if they don't trade for Sheppard, could use their first-round pick Saturday on a cornerback.
The St. Louis Rams reportedly also are interested in Sheppard.
