Chiefs Shopping J. Allen to Vikings, Bucs

People around the league say the Kansas City Chiefs are shopping defensive end Jared Allen, the league's sack leader last season.

The Chiefs placed their franchise player tag on Allen in February but that doesn't mean they can't trade him. The Minnesota Vikings and Tampa Bay Buccaneers are said to be in pursuit.

Chiefs are never going to win a Super Bowl. As soon as they develop players that are going to require a franchise contract the team trades them away or puts the tag on them for 1 year and then allows them to walk away.
