Flurry of Post-Draft Roster Moves Likely to Come Now

Get ready for a little post-draft flurry of roster moves around the league over the next few days.
Teams that fortified certain positions during the draft might release veteran players.

Clubs that failed to address particular needs might sign veterans.

But that doesn't necessarily mean that the players thought to be on the trading block who weren't dealt during draft weekend--including Eagles cornerback Lito Sheppard, Dolphins defensive end Jason Taylor and Giants tight end Jeremy Shockey--will be changing teams.

It's much harder to trade those players now, given that any draft picks involved in a deal won't come until next April.
