Jaguars Reportedly In Running for Eagles' Sheppard

The Jacksonville Jaguars are pursuing a possible trade with the Philadelphia Eagles for cornerback Lito Sheppard, the Philadelphia Daily News reports.

The Jaguars reportedly are attempting to obtain Sheppard for a package of draft choices next April.

The Eagles apparently were interested in trading Sheppard last weekend but couldn't find any teams willing to meet their asking price.

The Jaguars, meanwhile, had trade conversations with the Miami Dolphins regarding defensive end Jason Taylor. But they didn't complete a deal with the Dolphins and instead drafted defensive ends Derrick Harvey of Florida and Quentin Groves of Auburn in the opening two rounds.
