Jones Trade Offers Protections For Both Cowboys, Titans
The terms of the Adam (Pacman) Jones trade, finalized over the weekend, provide protections for both the team getting the suspended cornerback, the Dallas Cowboys, and the club getting rid of him, the Tennessee Titans.
The Cowboys sent a fourth-round draft pick Sunday to the Titans for Jones, who has been suspended for more than a year for violating the league's personal conduct policy.
If Jones has no further off-field issues, the Cowboys also will give the Titans a sixth-rounder next year.
But if Jones isn't reinstated and doesn't play next season, the Titans must give the Cowboys a fourth-round choice in next year's draft.
Jones agreed to a three-year contract with the Cowboys that includes a team option for a fourth season.

Any time somebody gives you protection around a guy named Pacman, you should wear it!
