L.A. Talk
I remember thinking at one point while I was at the annual league meeting a few weeks ago in Palm Beach, Fla., that it was remarkable how there was no talk whatsoever about the NFL returning to Los Angeles. It was the first time I could recall being at an owners' meeting and having the L.A. topic not come up at all.
Well, football and L.A. are back in the news this morning.
According to several reports, developer Edward P. Roski Jr. is to unveil his latest concept for a stadium in the Los Angeles area today. The stadium reportedly would be about 20 miles east of Los Angeles in the City of Industry. Roski is a part owner of the Lakers and Kings who has been trying to secure an NFL franchise for the city.
A solution to the stadium problem in L.A. certainly would put the issue back on the front burner for the league. The problem at that point would be how to get a franchise to the city, with no plans for expansion, and how to make the whole thing work financially. The NFL clearly still wants to be in Los Angeles. And if the powers-that-be in the city get their act together, beginning with the stadium issue, there's little doubt that the sport will return to Los Angeles somehow, someday.

Other than the Saints or Bills which team do think is most likely to move ?
Any talk of USC or UCLA playing in the new stadium ?
