Reworked Contract Keeps D. McAllister With Saints

Tailback Deuce McAllister agreed to a restructured contract with the New Orleans Saints to keep him with the team.

McAllister had been due to receive a $1 million roster bonus this week.

He is coming off his second significant knee injury in a three-year span, having had his 2007 season ended early by a torn anterior cruciate ligament in his left knee. He suffered a torn ACL in his right knee in 2005.
