Belichick Says Walsh Lacks Credibility
New England Patriots Coach Bill Belichick fired back at former Patriots video assistant Matt Walsh during an interview with CBS News aired this evening.
"I don't know what the agenda is," Belichick said. "Again, he was fired here for poor job performance. There's not a lot of credibility. You know, he's tried to make it seem like we were buddies and belonged to the same book club and all that is really a long, long stretch."
Belichick seemed particularly irked at Walsh's attempts to describe the system by which the Patriots put their tapes of opponents' play signals to use.
"For him to talk about game-planning and strategy and play-calling and how he advised coordinators is, it's embarrassing," Belichick said. "It's absurd. I mean, he didn't have any knowledge of football. He was our third video assistant."
Belichick denied Walsh's contention that he'd been told to conceal his taping activities. Belichick also stuck by his earlier explanation that he merely had misinterpreted league rules regarding the practice.
"I made a mistake," Belichick said. "I was wrong."

who in the heck is Belichick think he is right now he's credibility is more shot than walsh's as for walsh not knowing anything about football hold on a second there what did he know about football when he started he started the same way he got lucky and worked under parcells as a DC who had some playmakers on defense now iam
not saying walsh is the next Belichick don't get me wrong what iam saying is that if belichick started the same way by breaking down films on opponents then walsh could have take the same approach to his career here is something else if Brady became the best QB because of the spygate then there is no way Brady is the best QB in the league because that loses credibility on brady being the best QB and if he's being measured by how many rings he won that won't matter because of the fact that spygate taintes all the superbowl the Brady won

""Belichick Says Walsh Lacks Credibility
That is the pot calling the kettle black."
Since you KNOW neither one, your opinion lacks credibiity and
you'd fit in the pot/kettle category yourself.

He doesn't have to know either one to be able to figure out, by his actions and public pronouncements, that Belichick is in no position to criticize someone else's credibility.

LOL....it was a good interview. The media hates him because he doesn't give them what they want.
Fans hate him if he's not coaching your team.
He coaches MY team and he's very credible

He doesn't have to know either one to be able to determine, through Belichick's public statements and actions, that he is in no position to criticize someone else's lack of credibility.

From Gregg Easterbrook on ESPN.com.
"In Friday's Washington Post, NFL reporter Mark Maske quotes former Giants quarterback Phil Simms contending that stolen signals are no guarantee of victory: "'I've been in games where we knew every signal, every call by the other team, and we still lost,' Simms said by telephone yesterday. 'We [the Giants] had the San Diego Chargers' signals in 1980. We knew every signal. We knew every play. We were calling out what they were going to do: 'Here comes this. Here comes that.' They still scored 44 points.'" After more Simms quotes, the article moved to other matters. Who was on the New York Giants' coaching staff in 1980? Bill Belichick and Ernie Adams."

Hard to credit a noted and proven cheat impugning others' credibility. This whole things smells, and Belicheat is the least credible of the sordid cast in this minor drama.
