M. Pittman to Broncos
Free agent tailback Michael Pittman agreed to a one-year contract with the Denver Broncos.
Pittman gives the Broncos depth at the spot behind starter Travis Henry and top backup Selvin Young. Henry has been kept out of offseason workouts lately by a hamstring injury.
Pittman spent the last six seasons with the Tampa Bay Buccaneers after four seasons with the Arizona Cardinals. He has 5,307 career rushing yards.
He also is an excellent receiver out of the backfield, with 415 career catches.
