O. Thurman Suspended Indefinitely by League

Former Cincinnati Bengals linebacker Odell Thurman has been suspended indefinitely by the NFL for violating the league's substance abuse policy.

A league spokesman told the Associated Press that Thurman will not be eligible for reinstatement until after next season.

Thurman missed the last two seasons for violations of the policy. He was reinstated by the league in April but was released by the Bengals last month. He has not signed with another team.
