Packers Reportedly Could Be in J. Taylor Trade Mix

The Green Bay Packers made a trade inquiry with the Miami Dolphins about defensive end Jason Taylor, the Milwaukee Journal Sentinel reported.

The Taylor situation has quieted recently after Taylor said he would play for the Dolphins next season if he's not traded and club officials indicated they want him back. Earlier in the offseason, the former NFL defensive player of the year reportedly was at odds with new Dolphins front office chief Bill Parcells because of Taylor's absence from offseason workouts to participate in the "Dancing with the Stars" television show.

The Dolphins have not received what they regard as a suitable trade offer for Taylor.
