R. Colvin to Texans

The Houston Texans reportedly will sign free agent linebacker Rosevelt Colvin.

KRIV-TV is reporting that Colvin is traveling to Houston to sign with the team. The Houston Chronicle reported this morning that the Texans have a deal with Colvin.

Colvin is a good pass rusher who will give the Texans a pass-rushing threat opposite Mario Williams. He most recently was with the New England Patriots.

The Indianapolis Colts and New York Jets also were in the running to sign him, according to the Chronicle.
