Raiders' Walker Injured in Apparent Robbery in Las Vegas
Oakland Raiders wide receiver Javon Walker is hospitalized in Las Vegas after being injured in what media reports are speculating might have been a robbery.
According to the police, Walker was found with significant injuries early Monday on a street off the Las Vegas Strip.
KVVU-TV reported that Walker suffered a fractured eye socket.
The Las Vegas Review-Journal reported that Walker had been spraying champagne into the crowd at a nightclub hours before he was found unconscious. He left the nightclub around 6:30 a.m. and was found by police at 7:19, the newspaper reported.
Walker signed with the Raiders in March after being released by the Denver Broncos in February.
