T. Harris Gets Four-Year Extension From Bears

The Chicago Bears have locked up three-time Pro Bowl defensive tackle Tommie Harris to a four-year contract extension that runs through the 2012 season.

The extension keeps Harris, one of the league's top defensive tackles, from being eligible for unrestricted free agency after next season.

The deal is worth, according to a source, about $40 million, including approximately $18 million in guaranteed money.
